So what about Knyte Wings? Well, it never happened, Coursey couldnt make it to NYC due to various circumstances not worth going in to detail over. Knyte Wings would have been an unholy marriage of Brown Wing Overdrive with the addition of John Coursey on violin. To take one step back, Brown Wing Overdrive is a joint venture between veteran screamer and laptop noise shamen Chuck Bettis (Trance and the Arcade, All Scars, Metamatics, Measles Mumps Rubella) and mikroknyte Derek Morton. Chuck and Derek have been rawking various duo sets for years in Washington DC and more currently NYC. Just recently an exciting addition of Mikey IQ Jones rounds out the outfit an even trio; isnt that odd? (Bettis pictured on right)

Brown Wing sessions have yielded recordings with "sine waves gone wild," harsh freaked out electronics and loud absurd clatterings, including big ass old school alarm clocks. Its ear bursting with delicious dada flavor rather than grinding industrial noise. BWO has a rabid intensity and mental delirium quality that suggests schizophrenic paranoia trip FUN??!? Be brave, take a listen to a MP3 excerpt. (IQ Jones pictured on the left)

The mikroknytes are currently working on the next rekkid and taking their sweet time. There is enough material for a double lp however the guys are going to let the things ferment a bit and explore plenty of avenues before culling together a release. Besides, Redknyte is planning to spend the summer in Bolivia then relocate to hopefully a city on the east coast. Derek is spending way too much time picking on his banjo an activity more meditative then clicking away at the computer. (Coursey pictured on the right)
