The Mikroknytes debut CD is out and an east coast tour is in the works. John Rickman of SK has asked the m_knytes to join in on a few Electric Circus dates. So far, it looks like Brooklyn, New York and Richmond, VA are almost definite for the first week in July. The m_knytes are currently planning shows in Pittsbugh, Boston, Cleveland, Baltimore and Washington DC.

The photos page has been updated with Digiknyte pix. The digiknytes are a side project of the mikroknytes in which "znord-happy" Redknyte tweaks a bunch of synth and f/x parameters, while Vahan Papakhian plays "bass-thru-delay" and I do the midi-guitar thing. We totally improv it without sequencing and hope that it doesnt come out sounding like some Pink Floyd bootleg. Down the road m-knytes may knock out a remix of some of the live recordings. Our first public show was on April 25th at the Black Cat, check out a few pix .

New product is available! Check out Now Music and Fashion if you live in the Washington DC Area. Otherwise, it will be just a few weeks before the CD is distributed nationally.

The mikroknytes have finished their long over due cd. Thanks to the efforts of Marc Masters and Crank Automotive, the release will finally see the light of day. Depending on distribution, expect to see the CD in stores sometime in late Spring 2001. Check out the new Alan Licht CD too, it should come out on the same day also on Crank Automotive. For those that saw Alan perform at Transmissions 003, I promise you will not be disappointed.
